IRCTC offers Agra tour without a guide at INR 2,550

IRCTC is offering a special Agra tour package for all the tourists keen on admiring the beauty of the Taj Mahal. The special offer named 'Full Day Agra Tour without Guide' will allow tourists to explore other attractions like the Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri among a few others. The said package would cost travellers INR 2,550 per person.

The departure destination has been set for Agra Cant. Railway Station, and once the passengers are given a tour of all the local places in and around Agra, and AC vehicles will be provided to the passengers throughout the tour. Lunch will be provided in the hotel, and there will not be any guide in this tour. Tourists will have to pay extra to buy the entry ticket for visiting the heritage sites and monuments.

The pick-up and departure time will be 8:30 AM and 10 AM respectively to and from the Agra Cantt Railway Station and the hotel. The tour has been scheduled to be conducted all days of the week, except on Fridays.

Those interested should know that Agra is an ancient city located 220 km from Delhi, and forms a significant part of the Golden Triangle Tour, which also features Delhi and Jaipur. Agra is home to many Mughal era monuments and buildings that now serve as major tourist attractions for domestic and foreign travellers.

One of the most visited sites in Agra is Taj Mahal; it witnesses a footfall of thousands of visitors on a daily basis. Taj Mahal and other sites tell tales about the bygone times when Agra was one of the seats of the Mughal Empire.
