Takeaway Points

  • AMGiNE launches AMGiNE ABT, an automated booking tool that uses AI to change travel management.
  • Travelers can now submit text-based travel requests through any online or offline channel, including email, Slack, and text, and the ABT will process them and produce ideal itinerary options that are delivered directly to the traveler or via an agent.
  • Travel Inc. Is one of the first TMCs to use AMGiNE ABT as a white-labeled solution for its corporate travel clients.
  • AMGiNE, a provider of the leading AI automation platform for managed business travel, announced on Tuesday the launch of its AMGiNE ABT, an Automated Booking Tool, a next-generation platform with both agent-facing and traveler-facing tools that will change corporate travel management.

The process of booking corporate travel is often tiring and inefficient, requiring travelers to navigate many platforms to build a complete itinerary. AMGiNE ABT changes the pattern by using artificial intelligence to understand a traveler's intent and deliver a seamless, automated booking experience that integrates multiple AMGiNE services into a single platform, the company said.

Greg Apple, CEO of AMGiNE, said in a comment that "the ability to automatically service all the different request types received from travelers in one unified platform hasn't been achieved by anyone in the industry, until now. In addition to using AI to solve one of the biggest areas of frustration for corporate travel, we also understand the complexities of the industry and have deep integrations with the GDS and the PNR layer so we can help TMCs modernize their tech stacks and better service their corporate customers."

Travelers can now submit text-based travel requests through any online or offline channel, including email, Slack, and text, and the automated booking tool will automatically process the requests in a few minutes and produce ideal itinerary options that are delivered directly to the traveler or via an agent and can be customized as needed, AMGiNE said.

Travel Inc. Is one of the first TMCs to use AMGiNE ABT as a white-labeled solution for its corporate travel clients.

Eric Almond, Head of Product at Travel Inc., said that the AMGiNE ABT has provided a seamless travel experience for their customers and that they have seen 160% efficiency improvements.

"AMGiNE ABT is a game changer for us because it enables travel arrangers to streamline their workflows while personalizing the travel booking experience for their travelers without the need for online booking tools. We've seen efficiency improvements both for our team and for our customers of up to 160%. This is not insignificant given the volume of travel requests we process on any given day," Eric said.

AMGiNE ABT provides TMCs with some key features and benefits, like agent application, instant itinerary options, and PNR creation.

Global Stays will become effective for the 2025 programme and will offer more than 60,000 properties worldwide and more than one million serviced apartments, bookable via the GDS.
